Insurance Specialist
The Insurance Specialist completes follow-up on denials and no response claims.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Solid knowledge base of CPT and ICD-10 codes, preferred
Previous experience working multiple payors including BCBS, UHC, Medicare and Medicaid denials and appeals, preferred
Qualifications:
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Must be able to multi-task
Must maintain accuracy with increased work volume
Must be flexible with overtime and schedule changes to accommodate departmental needs
Must have good attendance and punctuality
Must be able to get along well with fellow employees
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00AM 5:00PM
