Administrative Assistant

TAP Engineering is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support advanced research and engineering initiatives spanning a range of physical science disciplines, including quantum computing, advanced computing systems, additive manufacturing, photonics, advanced materials, and microelectronics. In this role, you will provide direct support to senior leadership while also serving as a key point of contact for facility operations. You will work across both classified and unclassified environments, ensuring efficient coordination of administrative functions, scheduling, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to senior leadership and executive-level staff
Manage and maintain executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, coordinating conference rooms, and organizing teleconferences
Prepare reports, summaries, meeting minutes, and other documentation
Coordinate travel logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and expense tracking
Support facility operations, including visitor check-in and badging processes
Maintain accurate records and assist with asset tracking
Communicate effectively across teams and with a broad range of stakeholders
Provide front desk support and maintain a professional, organized environment
Assist with special projects and administrative initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
One of the following experience requirements:
11+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 7+ years of experience
Master's degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of experience
Experience supporting senior executives in an administrative capacity
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook for calendar management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in both classified and unclassified environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Clearance Requirement

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph, based on a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI/SBI). Clearance processing and maintenance will be conducted in accordance with U.S. Government requirements. Factors considered for clearance eligibility include, but are not limited to:
