Project Executive – Food & Beverage Construction

Location : Dallas, TX or Lexington, KY (relocation allowance provided)
A leading design-build firm is seeking a Project Executive to lead large-scale, complex projects in the Food & Beverage market. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of strategy, execution, financial performance, and client relationships on projects exceeding $200M+.
What You’ll Do :
Lead one major project or multiple high-complexity builds from preconstruction through closeout
Own P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Develop and drive project execution strategy across design, procurement, and construction
Oversee master scheduling, identify risks early, and implement corrective actions
Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships beyond the PM level
Ensure contract compliance, change management, and documentation accuracy
Partner with A/E, MEP, and Field Operations teams to ensure alignment and performance
Monitor procurement of equipment, subcontractors, and materials to optimize cost and schedule
Lead risk management planning and mitigation across all phases of the project
Mentor and develop Project Managers, building strong, accountable teams
What We’re Looking For :
10+ years of construction leadership experience in design-build or industrial markets
Proven track record managing large, complex projects ($100M–$200M+) with full P&L accountability
Strong experience in Food & Beverage, manufacturing, or process-driven environments
Deep understanding of multiple contract types (GMP, lump sum, cost-plus, CM)
Experience leading proposals, estimating, and execution planning
Ability to navigate technical engineering and design discussions with clients and partners
Demonstrated success improving project margins and delivering on aggressive schedules
Experience managing projects with significant process equipment procurement/installation
