Role Overview
Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Parry's recipes, standards, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with the BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
Line Cooks play a direct role in food quality, guest satisfaction, and overall shift success.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and cook menu items by following recipes and spec standards
Execute orders accurately and within expected ticket times
Understand portion sizes, taste profiles, and visual presentation expectations
Label, date, and store all food items properly
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
Follow all food safety and sanitation practices consistently
Communicate clearly with teammates during high-volume service
Support BOH flow by assisting with dishes, cleanup, and prep as needed
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency

Descripcin del Puesto
Los Cocineros de Lnea son responsables de preparar y cocinar los platillos del men de acuerdo con las recetas, estndares y tiempos de ticket de Parry's. Este puesto requiere una buena administracin del tiempo, atencin al detalle y comunicacin clara con el equipo de BOH para mantener el servicio en movimiento.
Los Cocineros de Lnea influyen directamente en la calidad de los alimentos, la satisfaccin del cliente y el xito general del turno.
Responsabilidades y Deberes
Preparar y cocinar los platillos siguiendo recetas y estndares de porcin
Ejecutar rdenes con precisin y dentro de los tiempos de ticket esperados
Comprender los tamaos de porcin, perfiles de sabor y presentacin visual
Etiquetar, fechar y almacenar correctamente todos los alimentos
Mantener una estacin de trabajo limpia y organizada durante todo el turno
Cumplir consistentemente con las prcticas de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento
Comunicarse claramente con el equipo durante servicios de alto volumen
Apoyar el flujo del BOH ayudando con limpieza, lavado de platos y preparacin cuando sea necesario
Desempearse eficazmente en un entorno rpido sin sacrificar calidad ni consistencia
Qualifications + Skills
BOH restaurant experience
Ability to work nights and weekends
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
Reliable, professional, and focused under pressure
Willingness to learn, take coaching, and grow within the role
