Accounting Coordinator

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Accounting Coordinator for the Albany Capital Center. The Accounting Coordinator assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and ASM policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, operating expenses, and insurance records
Verifies and checks the accuracy of general ledger coding, entering accounts receivable and payable invoices
Prepare accounts payable check runs
Participates in cost analyses
Participates in monthly variance analysis for each department.
Prepares and performs or assists with event settlements and sponsor contracts.
Assists in internal and external audits
All other duties as assigned

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree in accounting for finance
At least 3 to 5 years work related experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of general and cost accounting
Excellent math skills; high aptitude for numerical data
Communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability
Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required
Experience with D365 and ADP preferred
Other:

Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
Must have a professional attitude and appearance

Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm
Pay Range: $24.00 - $28.70 per hour based on experience
