Description

As an Avionics Specialist (harnessing) at Impulse, you will build and test harnessing across our vehicles used in low-earth orbit and beyond. Your work will directly impact the reliability and mission success of our Mira and Helios spacecraft.

Responsibilities
Write and maintain the company's internal harness assembly spec.
Enable a formal certification pipeline for technicians and engineers.
Serve as the company's standards authority for harnessing.
Stand up RF cable fabrication and testing line.
Oversee build quality and reliability of harnesses and RF cables
Provide quality assurance mentorship and training.
Establish and expand hi-pot infrastructure (has done before)
Mentorship and training of junior technicians and engineers
Build harnesses for critical or time-sensitive projects.
Help with additional areas such as PCBAs once harnessing production lines are mature
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certificate
8+ years of demonstrated manufacturing experience with harnessing.
Experience with bringing up harness manufacturing lines.
Experience training junior technicians and engineers
Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with RF cables
Experience with writing standards and specifications for harnessing
Experience with harnessing quality and reliability.

Additional Information:

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the
