Position Title : Hardware Managment Support Analyst
Position Overview :
The
Hardware Management Support Analyst
is responsible for ensuring employees have the right end-user technology, at the right time, in the right condition.
This role manages the full lifecycle of corporate hardware (primarily laptops and peripherals), from deployment and configuration to maintenance and recovery, while delivering a smooth, customer-focused experience to end users.
Key Accountabilties :
Hardware lifecycle management
- Coordinate deployment, refresh, and retirement of laptops and related equipment, ensuring accurate tracking in asset management systems.
Request fulfillment
- Process hardware requests from intake through approval, configuration, and delivery, meeting defined SLAs and providing clear communication to end users.
Provisioning and configuration
- Image, configure, and validate devices according to enterprise standards, including required software, security settings, and network access.
End-user support
- Troubleshoot basic hardware issues, collaborate with service desk and walk-up teams, and ensure issues are resolved or escalated promptly.
Compliance and security
- Follow and enforce corporate standards for device security, data protection, and return processes (e.g., for terminations, leaves, and role changes).
Continuous improvement
- Identify recurring pain points in the hardware process, suggest improvements, and contribute feedback to enhance end-user experience and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications :
Experience with enterprise hardware management (laptops, monitors, docks, and peripherals) in a corporate environment.
Strong customer service orientation with clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities, with attention to detail and adherence to process and policy.
Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with asset management tools and hardware lifecycle processes (procure, deploy, support, retire).
