Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Network/Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and infrastructure platforms in a high-availability environment. This role focuses on infrastructure optimization, secure data transfer, cloud and virtualization operations, and ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize virtualization environments, including lifecycle management, performance tuning, patching, and disaster recovery
Support and execute infrastructure modernization initiatives, including virtualization and platform transitions
Administer and optimize compute and storage platforms, ensuring performance and resilience
Manage cloud environments, including networking, compute, storage, security, and cost optimization
Operate containerized environments and orchestration platforms, ensuring system reliability and scalability
Design and support enterprise networks across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
Configure and manage routing, switching, and core network services
Administer firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions
Maintain secure data transfer mechanisms and manage encryption and certificate lifecycles
Support security initiatives, including vulnerability remediation and compliance alignment
Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve operational efficiency
Enhance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for project delivery and issue resolution
Maintain technical documentation including runbooks, diagrams, and standards
Participate in on-call support and incident response activities
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering in enterprise environments
Strong experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms
Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking including routing, switching, VPNs, and troubleshooting
Experience with firewall administration and network security practices
Experience managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and related services
Working knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server
Strong understanding of monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Relevant certifications in networking, cloud, or infrastructure technologies
Experience with enterprise storage and compute platforms
Experience with monitoring, security, and endpoint management tools
