Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented machinist to support engineering projects by building high-quality plastic components and tooling. In this role, you will use a variety of machining techniques and tool room equipment to produce precision parts that meet customer requirements. You will also provide tooling support across engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and collaboration in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clean, maintain, and prepare production tools and molds
Build components for new and existing tools and molds using tool room equipment and engineering designs
Read and interpret engineering drawings from paper prints and digital files
Measure, inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot existing molds using precision measuring tools such as a toolmaker's scope
Make improvements, corrections, and repairs to molds as needed
Collaborate with project leaders to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
Support tooling needs for engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams
Perform additional duties as business needs require
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Experience using machining equipment such as metal saws, mills, grinders, and lathes
