Job Description
CoWorx Staffing in conjunction with a national manufacturer of Technical Ceramics is currently looking for a machine operator. The machine operator is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce a variety of parts according to the procedures established. This role ensures strict adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Operate assigned equipment within the department.
Perform machining operations on a variety of parts to meet specifications.
Work to required tolerances using precision measuring tools.
Inspect work for accuracy after first article approval.
Prepare and maintain required records and reports.
Maintain established quality standards throughout all operations.
Keep work area and equipment clean, safe, and organized; adhere to all safety measures and company policies.
Desired Background/Skills
Proven experience as a machine operator. Knowledge of ceramic material properties. Ability to operate machine tools. Skilled in using precision instruments (micrometers, indicators, etc.) for accurate measurements. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience utilizing grinding equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
