Assembly Technician
First Shift
We are seeking a dependable Assembly Technician to join our team in Ocala, FL. This is a long-term, first-shift opportunity with room for advancement in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The Assembly Technician will build and assemble large industrial pumps by following work instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble large pumps and related components using detailed work instructions and diagrams
Use hand tools, power tools, presses, and assembly/test fixtures
Operate measuring and testing instruments to verify quality and specifications
Document defects and non-conforming products on logs and production paperwork
Perform visual and functional inspections throughout the assembly process
Safely operate hand trucks, cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Comfortable documenting defects and completing production logs
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to lift, move, and position large components with assistance or lifting equipment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
