Van Driver - Youth Partial Care

As a Van Driver, you will provide transportation for our consumers to and from our youth partial care program located in Lumberton, Burlington County, New Jersey.
Schedule: Varied Hours
Salary: $17.30 USD per hour
Responsibilities:
Drive consumers to and from Adult Partial Care programs
Transport to consumers scheduled for intake/enrollment
Organize and keep records regarding transportation schedule and mileage
Consumer safety, including mandatory fastening of seatbelts of driver and all passengers
Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness
Never leave consumers on the van unattended
Provide for consumer safety including mandatory fastening of seat belts for all occupants of vans
Ensure infants and children are secured in appropriate car seats
Notify supervisory staff of any van maintenance, safety issues, or consumer issues
Assist with building support activities as needed: mail delivery, meal preparation and serving, program related errands, light housekeeping, supply organization, and vehicle cleaning
Maintain courteous interactions with consumers and community members

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 5 years full time experience with children or youth OR;
Associate's degree plus 2 years full time experience with children or youth OR;
Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree preferred;
Good driving record and good driving skills; Good verbal & written communication skills and be team oriented
All positions require a valid driver's license in good standing, and pre-employment drug screening.
