Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
Separation PMO Lead/Program Manager
to drive end-to-end program leadership for a complex M&A carve-out or divestiture within a Pharmaceutical or Medical Device organization. This role will lead separation planning and execution across business, technology, supply chain, finance, and TSA domains while operating at the Executive Leadership and Steering Committee level. The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise program management experience, proven carve-out execution capability, and the ability to manage large digital product portfolios in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Separation PMO overseeing all phases of carve-out or divestiture execution, from Day 1 readiness through TSA exit and stabilization.
Develop and govern integrated separation plans covering IT, data, applications, supply chain, finance, HR, regulatory, and quality functions.
Manage a large digital product portfolio (20+ products), ensuring alignment with separation milestones and business continuity objectives.
Drive cross-functional dependency management across data migration, system integrations, financial reporting, and TSA agreements.
Establish separation governance structure, reporting cadence, RAID logs, and executive-level dashboards.
Partner with Supply Chain leadership to manage product transfers, manufacturing separation, distribution transitions, and regulatory compliance impacts.
Oversee TSA design, tracking, and exit planning, ensuring clear service definitions, SLAs, cost transparency, and risk mitigation.
Lead financial separation activities including cost allocations, budgeting, forecasting, and stand-alone financial model alignment.
Coordinate data separation strategies including ERP, quality systems, serialization, and regulatory documentation requirements.
Provide executive-level reporting and present program status, risks, and financial impacts to Leadership Team and Steering Committee stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (FDA, GxP, SOX) throughout separation execution.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of enterprise program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Direct M&A carve-out or divestiture experience, including Day 1 and TSA exit execution.
Experience within Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries.
Demonstrated ability to manage large digital product portfolios (20+ applications/products).
Strong expertise in dependency management across IT systems, integrations, financial processes, and data domains.
Experience operating at Executive Leadership and Steering Committee levels.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity and lead large matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Supply Chain transformation or operational separation experience strongly preferred.
Experience separating ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
Experience working with external advisory firms and integration partners.
