Grinder/Finisher/Deburr Technician

Metal Finisher
We are seeking a skilled machine operator with experience in working with lathe machines, specifically Haas machines, for over 2 years. The successful candidate must be proficient in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and polishing or grinding edges of medical tools to ensure they meet specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate metal finishing equipment, including polishing belts and wheels.
Use and maintain chemical baths to strip and polish parts.
Utilize cleaning baths for cleaning metal and plastic parts.
Finish metal products according to customer specifications.
Inspect, measure, and test manufactured products.
Deburr manufactured parts to meet quality standards.
Ensure products conform to specifications.
Prevent damage to equipment and processes.
Adhere to ISO quality management system procedures.
Follow safety and environmental procedures.
Execute written and verbal instructions from leadership.
Collaborate with all departments as necessary.
Perform non-routine tasks as assigned by supervisors or company officers.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience with lathe machines (Haas preferred).
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Experience with grinding, polishing, deburring, and buffing.
Strong math skills, including the ability to perform calculations in both English and Metric systems.
Ability to read complicated drawings and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in metal finishing preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, use hand tools, and lift or move up to 25 lbs.

Our facility operates a busy schedule with shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and one Saturday a month. The role involves standing for long periods and requires frequent use of hand tools and measuring devices.

Pay and Benefits
