+ $2/hr Bilingual Differential (English/Spanish)
Every patient experience begins with a first impression.
The receptionist plays a critical role in shaping that experience. We are looking for someone who naturally creates warmth, professionalism, and calm from the very first interaction.
Many patients walk into a dental office feeling anxious or vulnerable. The way they are welcomed can change their entire visit. This role is centered on hospitality, organization, and patient experience not high phone volume.
Position Overview
This Dental Receptionist / Front Desk position focuses primarily on:
Greeting and checking in patients
Creating a welcoming and professional reception experience
Coordinating scheduling and follow-up appointments
Supporting insurance verification and patient documentation
Maintaining smooth front office operations
Phones are part of the role, but this is not a call-center environment. The priority is in-person patient interaction and front desk leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience
Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
Check in patients and verify demographic and insurance information
Maintain a clean, organized, and polished reception area
Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination
Support patient communication and financial discussions when needed
Help create a calm and positive environment
Administrative & Insurance
Insurance verification and updates
Accurate data entry and record management
HIPAA compliance
Coordination with clinical team members

Qualifications
High school diploma required
Front desk, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
Dental office experience is a plus
Knowledge of dental software is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Qualified bilingual team members receive an additional $2 per hour.
Compensation & Growth
