Jefferies is seeking an Analyst or Associate to lead transactions in a highly active capital markets environment.
Job Description
This team executes the full suite of investment banking services including M&A (predominately sell-side), debt financings utilizing Jefferies committed syndicated and direct lending capabilities, and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-on and growth raises. This is an exceptionally active group executing a high volume of private equity-linked deals. Lead sell-side M&A execution experience is a must. The Boston office houses approximately 50 people and this team consists of ~20 bankers focused on consumer, retail, business services, distribution, and technology transactions related to the automotive aftermarket.
Required Experience/Skills
Strong sell-side M&A experience
Desire to lead transactions
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple parties
Manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Developed knowledge of private equity market
Preparation of pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses
Expert financial modeling and business analysis
Bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus) from an accredited college or university AND 4+ years of Investment Banking experience
Desire to live and work in Boston
Salary Range: 110,000-225,000
