Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a
Quality Assurance Engineer
to support our client in
Austin, Texas . This role focuses on ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance while supporting both new product development and existing product improvements.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$45/hour
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the quality representative for product development initiatives
Participate in design and manufacturing reviews
Support risk analysis and quality documentation for new and existing products
Review and approve engineering and development documentation
Assist with regulatory and quality system audits
Conduct internal quality audits and process reviews
Investigate nonconforming materials and product issues
Lead or support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Monitor product quality trends and customer feedback
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of engineering or quality experience, including exposure to product development
Experience working in a highly regulated industry (medical device, aerospace, automotive, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Knowledge of ISO quality standards and regulatory compliance
Experience with SolidWorks, PLM systems, or ERP tools
CQE, Lean, or Six Sigma certification is a plus
Familiarity with manufacturing and inspection processes
