Summerspark Camp Counselor
The summerSPARK Camp Counselor supports Montessori Guides, Guides, and Assistant Guides in delivering a best-in-class summer camp experience. They create fun, safe, and engaging experiences for children while supporting camp activities, guiding campers, and ensuring a positive atmosphere.

If this is you, we want you on our STEAMspark Montessori team.
We are seeking an instructional assistant to support the Montessori Lead with establishing and maintaining a peaceful Montessori environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Supervise and interact with campers in various age groups (infants to 12 years old)
Assist with STEAM-based activities, games, and outdoor play
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized camp environment
Support lead teachers and counselors with daily routines and transitions
Engage children in creative, educational, and social activities
Monitor and ensure camper safety at all times
Communicate with staff and campers in a positive and professional manner
Assist with meal/snack distribution and cleanup
Set up and break down activities as needed
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old
Must complete pre-service orientation/training including CPR/first aid
Must pass Texas Department of Health and Human Services Background Check and STEAMspark's internal background check
Physical Requirements
Able to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
Pay
Pay range of $14.40 to $17.60 per hour.
