Loan Officer
Green Brick Mortgage is seeking a motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team in Plano, TX. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in securing mortgage loans for their home purchases, refinancing, or other needs. This role involves evaluating loan applications, providing personalized financial advice, and ensuring a seamless process from application to closing.
Originate residential mortgage loans.
Evaluate and recommend loan products to meet client needs.
Collect and review financial documents from clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, industry regulations, and company policies.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.
Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other industry professionals.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations. Authority to issue pre-qualification letters, credit report reviews, income calculations, reviewing borrows applications to confirm they meet loan product guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and guidelines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
NMLS license required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage loan origination.
