Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for supervising front office staff on a daily basis to ensure consistency in Crowne Plaza standards and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Support the Crowne Plaza hallmark and service standards.
Make a daily reservation count of arrivals and departures to aid in the selling of rooms.
Use suggestive selling techniques to upgrade room types and promote other services of the hotel.
Register all incoming guest in a friendly and efficient manner.
Stay up to date on room rates, packages, discounts and how to handle each.
Develop a thorough knowledge of room types, location, literature, furnishings and other amenities that are included.
Handle complaints courteously and relay them to your manager for appropriate action.
Plan, schedule, organize, coordinate and administer front office activities.
Perform responsibilities of front office agent.
Supervise and train front office personnel.
All other duties as required.

Education & Experience

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Generally 5 or more years of experience in hospitality.
Familiar with basic math and cash handling procedures
Possess computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have knowledge of hotel Property Management System including OPERA or similar system
Positive and professional attitude at all times.
Knowledge of the greater Louisville Area
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Ability to meet deadlines in fast paced environment
