Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and drive cost analysis within a production-focused environment. This role combines strong technical accounting expertise with a deep understanding of cost structures and inventory processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, small-team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting


• Maintain general ledger accuracy, prepare tax documentation, and file monthly sales tax reports


• Oversee cost accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; analyze variances, margins, and cost drivers to support pricing and strategic decisions


• Handle inventory reconciliations and periodic physical counts


• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure analysis


• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations; support audits and maintain accurate records


• Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize costs and inventory


• Support ERP/accounting system enhancements or implementations


• Provide actionable financial insights to aid operational planning and decision-making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing or production environment preferred


• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management


• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, cost modeling)
