Senior Accountant – Opportunity to Move from Audit/Assurance to Industry

Location: Baltimore, MD
Compensation: $70,000–$110,000 + 10% bonus target
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

What You’ll Do

• Own month-end close for multiple business units, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.


• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.


• Deliver variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.


• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital project tracking.


• Assist with external audits and internal reporting requirements.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help standardize processes.

What We’re Looking For

• CPA required with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• 3+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or next-tier firm preferred).


• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.


• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience drafting SOPs and improving processes.


• Exposure to FP&A or operational finance is a plus.
