US Controller – High-Impact, Transformation-Focused Leadership Role
Compensation: $180K to $200K + Equity/MIP
Work Model: Onsite | Arden Hills, MN

This isn’t a maintenance-mode Controller role.

This is a highly visible, private equity-backed environment where you’ll take full ownership of the US accounting function—while helping drive meaningful process improvement across a business that’s actively evolving.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Full ownership of the US trial balance, including month-end close, financial reporting, and account integrity
• Leading and developing the accounting team across AP, AR, GL, and cost accounting
• Driving process improvement across close, reconciliations, and overall financial operations
• Acting as the primary point of accountability for US accounting—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control
• Supporting audit, lender reporting, and internal/external financial requirements
• Partnering with leadership to identify gaps, improve workflows, and strengthen the overall function
• Rolling up your sleeves as needed to support a lean team in a fast-paced environment

What They’re Looking For

• 10+ years of accounting experience, including Controller or senior leadership roles
• Manufacturing experience required, with strong cost accounting exposure
• Proven track record of driving process improvement or operating in evolving/complex environments
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead while staying close to the work
• Experience owning the full close process and trial balance
• ERP experience (Epicor or similar preferred)
• Prior experience in private equity-backed or high-change environments is a plus
