Senior Accountant
Salary: $125,000–$150,000
Bonus: Up to 12%

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Lead multi‑state sales tax compliance, registration, reporting, and ongoing state‑specific requirements.
- Manage fixed assets, including booking, asset classification (5‑ vs 7‑year), depreciation schedules, and capitalization decisions.
- Support and oversee AR/AP staff, ensuring accurate posting, workflow management, and effective cross‑department communication.
- Contribute to month‑end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, variance review, and multi‑entity reporting.
- Prepare and maintain reporting related to new business segments, intercompany work, and field operations.
- Assist with accounting system improvements during the transition to NetSuite.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including multi‑state sales tax and fixed asset management.
- Experience with Vertex, NetSuite, Sage FAS, or comparable systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical ability, solid communication skills, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Confident collaborator who can offer informed opinions and ask questions when needed.
