Senior Tax Accountant

Compensation: $130,000 - 140,000 + bonus
The Senior Tax Accountant will support tax compliance and reporting activities for the client, including federal, state, and foreign tax matters. This role is responsible for quarterly and annual ASC 740 (FAS 109/FIN 48) calculations and documentation, tax filings, and responding to inquiries from U.S. and international taxing authorities.

The Senior Tax Accountant will support tax compliance and reporting activities for the client, including federal, state, and foreign tax matters. This role is responsible for quarterly and annual ASC 740 (FAS 109/FIN 48) calculations and documentation, tax filings, and responding to inquiries from U.S. and international taxing authorities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual ASC 740 U.S. GAAP tax provisions, including supporting documentation for external auditors related to federal, state, and foreign income tax calculations
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax disclosures for SEC reporting
- Prepare income tax filings, including U.S. federal Forms 1120 and 1120F, as well as state and local income and franchise tax returns
- Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and maintain supporting tax return workpapers
- Prepare state and local sales, property, and payroll apportionment factors
- Prepare international tax filings for non-U.S. jurisdictions, including Ireland, Singapore, and the U.K.
- Solely responsible for VAT filings in Ireland, France, and other jurisdictions as required (bi-monthly)
- Prepare quarterly Sales & Use Tax returns
- Reconcile tax-basis fixed assets and depreciation on a quarterly basis
- Respond to management requests related to net tax values of aircraft
- Prepare W-8BEN documentation as requested by Treasury
- Manage, monitor, and maintain logs of notices and correspondence with taxing authorities
- Complete registration forms for newly established U.S. and international entities
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to obtain data necessary for domestic and international tax reporting
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to better understand business activities and improve tax processes
- Assist with special projects to help minimize worldwide tax exposure
- Support federal, state, local, and foreign tax audits
- Assist other Tax team members with day-to-day operational matters as needed
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Advanced tax degree and/or CPA preferred
- 3–5 years of public and/or corporate tax experience (Big Four experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and related accounting rules and procedures
- Working knowledge of ASC 740
