Key Responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant



  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple entities and partnerships as the Senior Property Accountant

  • Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related reconciliations as the Senior Property Accountant

  • Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis, as the Senior Property Accountant

  • Assist with budgeting, expense analysis, and financial performance monitoring across properties as the Senior Property Accountant

  • Support audits, maintain internal controls, and collaborate with leadership on process improvements as the Senior Property Accountant




Qualifications for the Senior Property Accountant



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 1.5–3 years of accounting experience; property or real estate accounting strongly preferred

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; Yardi experience strongly preferred
