Staff Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a food and beverage service company located in Downtown Boston to identify a motivated Staff Accountant.

The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accounts Payable tasks and Manage Accounts Receivable production and collection


• Enter and code invoices daily and develop the knowledge of database


• Create daily sales flash comparing current and prior year


• Develop relationships with vendors and manage accounts


• Reconciliation of accounts and support with some payroll tasks


• Assist with month end close process, inventory management and food cost analysis


• Daily and weekly sales auditing


• Review weekly paperwork to ensure accuracy of sales, customers, gift card transactions, and employee disbursements

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant position:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field is preferred


• 1+ year of related work experience (including internship experience)


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups, and familiarity with at least one major ERP

Salary Range
$55,000-$65,000
