STAFF ACCOUNTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle accounts payable tasks and support accounts receivable processing and collections


• The Staff Accountant will enter and code invoices daily while developing system and database knowledge


• Create daily sales reports comparing current and prior year performance


• Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage account activity


• The Staff Accountant will perform account reconciliations and assist with select payroll-related tasks


• Support month-end close, inventory tracking, and food cost analysis


• Conduct daily and weekly sales audits for accuracy


• The Staff Accountant will review operational paperwork including sales, customer activity, gift card transactions, and employee disbursements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred


• 1+ year of accounting experience (internship experience accepted)


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)


• Experience with at least one major ERP system preferred
