Accounting Manager – Nonprofit (Onsite in Holland, MI)

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a mission-driven nonprofit in Holland, MI. This fully onsite role oversees daily accounting operations, audit prep, payroll, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities for Accounting Manager

• Lead monthly close, journal entries, and financial reporting


• Prepare for annual audits and ensure GAAP compliance


• Supervise accounting staff and review team work


• Manage payroll processing and benefits administration


• Support budgeting, grant tracking, and financial analysis

Qualifications for Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance


• 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience


• Strong audit prep, payroll, and benefits knowledge


• Leadership experience highly preferred


• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
