Senior Accountant

Position Title: Senior Accountant
Salary: $60,000 - $73,000

Summary

Handles financial reporting, month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and compliance with GAAP. Supports audits, prepares accruals, and assists with regulatory filings and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & General Ledger

• Lead month-end close for multiple entities


• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments


• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies


• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure report accuracy


• Coordinate with departments to gather inputs and explain variances

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Compile monthly financial reports for leadership and departments


• Respond to inquiries on budget performance and variances


• Create ad-hoc reports and financial models using Excel

Accounts Payable & Revenue Monitoring

• Support A/P functions and resolve issues


• Monitor revenue and receivables; escalate collection concerns

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• Minimum 2 years in accounting; healthcare experience preferred


• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems


• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
