Property Accountant
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing real estate company in Indianapolis seeking a Property Accountant with Yardi software experience. This role manages property-level financials, reporting, and compliance while supporting property managers with accurate insights.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties


• Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accruals


• Oversee AP/AR related to property operations


• Track income, expenses, and variances using Yardi


• Support audits and ensure GAAP compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 3–5 years of property or real estate accounting experience


• Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting practices
