Warehouse Associate I

The Warehouse Associate I supports daily operations in a medical equipment service center by cleaning, preparing, and handling movable medical equipment and support surfaces for rental. This role focuses on warehouse activities, inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The position does not involve direct patient contact and is not authorized to transfer or position patients. The Warehouse Associate I works Monday through Friday with a 6:00 AM start time and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform warehouse activities including bed decontamination, product cleaning, and preparation of medical equipment and support surfaces for rental.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, unloading, and moving equipment and materials within the facility.
Assist in maintaining accurate on-site inventory by properly recording, labeling, and storing products.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other material handling tools in a safe and compliant manner.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Conduct general housekeeping activities in the service center, including 5S activities, to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with sales teams, co-workers, other departments, and internal customers to support operational needs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by regularly cleaning work areas, equipment, and tools.
Keep required safety training, meetings, and medical testing up to date in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Operate at all times within company guidelines and applicable regulations related to safety, health, and quality.
Demonstrate a proactive approach toward safety, health, and quality in compliance with all company, governmental, and customer regulations.
Follow and uphold all company policies and procedures in daily work activities.
Perform basic administrative tasks related to assignments, such as using a computer to complete documentation and reports.
Complete all other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall warehouse and service center operations.
Essential Skills:
Minimum age of 18 years or older.
Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
Ability to perform all essential job functions, including physical tasks and equipment handling.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Previous mechanical or hands-on experience preferred, with comfort working with tools and equipment.
Ability to perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry and simple documentation.
Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with co-workers and internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills to manage tasks, equipment, and inventory accurately.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to use a computer to perform assignments and complete required documentation.
Ability to follow safety guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements consistently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse material handling equipment.
Experience with inventory processes such as picking, loading, and stock management.
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or labor-intensive environment, including experience in similar regional markets.
Familiarity with 5S or other continuous improvement and workplace organization methodologies.
Comfort working in a medical equipment or healthcare-related environment is a plus.
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, especially with early morning start times.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:
This is a Permanent position based out of Pearl City, HI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
