Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of FP&A
- Lead and support core planning cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions and performance tracking
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPI reporting
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, commercial teams, and leadership to provide actionable insights
- Identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings clearly to leadership
- Develop deep understanding of business performance and proactively influence decision-making
- Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Qualifications for the Senior Manager of FP&A
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 7–10 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills required
- Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership
- Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or dynamic environments preferred
- Experience with data tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is a plus
