Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of FP&A



  • Lead and support core planning cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions and performance tracking

  • Prepare executive-level reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPI reporting

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, commercial teams, and leadership to provide actionable insights

  • Identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings clearly to leadership

  • Develop deep understanding of business performance and proactively influence decision-making

  • Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives

  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency


Qualifications for the Senior Manager of FP&A



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 7–10 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience

  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills required

  • Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership

  • Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or dynamic environments preferred

  • Experience with data tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is a plus
