Finance Manager (FP&A) – High-Impact Business Partner Role

Compensation: $130K to $150K + 15% Bonus
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite) | Minneapolis, MN

This isn’t a back-office FP&A role.

This is a highly visible Finance Manager position where you’ll partner directly with operational leadership, own financial performance for a key business area, and lead a small team—all within a large, well-established organization.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for a large, operational business unit
• Acting as a true business partner to leadership—translating financial data into decisions
• Leading and developing a team (2 direct reports) while staying hands-on in the work
• Managing both operating and capital spend, including long-term planning considerations
• Delivering clear, actionable insights through variance analysis and performance tracking
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and trends—and proactively bringing solutions forward
• Improving processes, reporting, and forecasting accuracy over time

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or finance roles with strong forecasting and analysis exposure
• Prior leadership experience or clear readiness to lead and develop others
• Experience supporting business units or operational teams (not just corporate FP&A)
• Background in mid-to-large company environments
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence non-finance partners
