Senior Accountant

Our client is a high growth technology company, hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of SaaS revenue accounting. This is a role for someone who thrives in the details of contracts, understands the nuance of revenue recognition, and enjoys translating complexity into clarity.

What You’ll Do

• Own key aspects of revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606)


• Review and interpret customer contracts, identifying performance obligations and deliverables


• Partner with sales and legal teams to ensure proper revenue treatment and contract structure


• Prepare and analyze monthly revenue reports, including deferred revenue and related balance sheet accounts


• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and analytics to ensure accuracy and completeness


• Play a critical role in the month-end close process, with a focus on revenue-related entries and reporting


• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and scalability as the company grows

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance


• 5-7 years of experience with SaaS accounting and revenue recognition (ASC 606)


• Ability to analyze contracts and translate them into accurate accounting outcomes


• Experience preparing revenue analytics and balance sheet reconciliations


• Solid understanding of month-end close processes in a fast-paced environment


• High attention to detail with a natural curiosity for how things work


• Strong communication skills—you can bridge the gap between accounting and non-finance teams
