Client in the property management industry is seeking an Accountant to assist with accounts payable, tenant billing, banking activity, and month-end accounting across multiple entities. Salary is $60-$95k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTANT
- The Accountant will process and review accounts payable including utilities and vendor invoices
- The Accountant will record tenant receipts, prepare tenant statements, and support billing activities
- Monitor, reconcile, and research bank activity, deposits, ACH transactions, and credit cards
- Prepare month-end bank reconciliations, journal entries, and recurring accounting entries
- Assist with audit support, financial documentation, and special accounting projects as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTANT
- Degree in Accounting or related field required
- 3+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- Experience with Yardi or property management systems is a must
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy required
