Position Overview

An organization in South Bend, Indiana is seeking an Accounting Intern to support the accounting team with daily financial operations. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and business operations while working alongside experienced accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Support data entry and reconciliation of financial transactions
• Help prepare financial reports and Excel spreadsheets
• Assist with month-end closing tasks and documentation
• Organize and maintain accounting records and financial files
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
