Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our clients accounting and finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The staff Accountant needs to be highly organized, analytical, and eager to grow within a collaborative environment.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.


• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.


• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment posting.


• Monitor general ledger activity and ensure compliance with GAAP.


• Prepare financial analyses and assist with variance reporting.


• Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions.


• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements as needed.


• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.


• 1–3 years of accounting experience


• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting software preferred.


• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000
