Construction Accountant

About the Company and Overview of the Role:

• Our client is family owned and operated and has been in the construction industry for over 10 years.


• Due to growth, they are hiring a Staff Accountant to work in their office.


• This position will begin in immediately after an interview on a contractual basis and can become permanent for the right candidate

Job Responsibilities:

• Full cycle AP


• Handle AR and billing


• Weekly multistate payroll


• General bookkeeping


• Maintain GL


• Perform month end close


• Assist with projects and work with project managers


• Admin duties including answering the phone when needed

Qualifications for the Construction Staff Accountant:

• 3+ years' accounting experience required


• Intermediate Excel skills required


• Construction industry experience highly preferred


• Recent experience with Sage 100 highly preferred


• Superb written and verbal communication skills
