Construction Accountant
Salary: $70,000 - $95,000

A well‑established, growth‑oriented construction organization is adding a Construction Accountant to support expanding operations. This is a newly created role offering strong visibility, hands‑on responsibility, and close partnership with both project teams and finance leadership.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with project and field teams on job costing, budgets, WIP tracking, and project reconciliations
- Serve as a key liaison between operations, field teams, and accounting
- Support month‑end close, journal entries, and general ledger activities
- Maintain project financials including cost tracking, billing support, and variance analysis
- Handle bookkeeping and accounting for smaller affiliated entities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements using QuickBooks
- Assist with process improvements and help modernize construction accounting practices
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Construction or project‑based accounting experience preferred
- Familiarity with job costing and project financials preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred; Sage 300 exposure is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with technology and automation
- Detail‑oriented, collaborative, and adaptable mindset
