We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and financial operations across multiple entities. This role is ideal for a construction, real estate, or equipment leasing accounting professional who excels in job costing, process improvement, and team leadership.

OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Oversee month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting.


• Manage job costing, contractor invoices, vendor payments, and inter-company allocations.


• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.


• Lead system implementations and process improvements.


• Mentor and manage accounting staff, maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.


• 5+ years of accounting experience in construction, real estate, or equipment leasing.


• Strong ERP and Excel skills; experience with system implementation a plus.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities.
