Salary: $95,000 to $115,000

Responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accountant:
• Maintain and analyze standard costs across manufacturing operations
• Review and explain cost variances (materials, labor, overhead)
• Support new product costing and updates to BOMs and routings
• Oversee inventory valuation; assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory and financial statements
• Support month‑end close for COGS, inventory reconciliations, and cost allocations
• Prepare costing reports, margin analysis, and recommendations
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to resolve costing and inventory issues
• Assist with process improvements and system optimization initiatives
Qualifications of the Senior Cost Accountant:
• 3–5+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience
• Strong standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting background
• Experience identifying and correcting financial statement discrepancies
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred
