Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for a variety of clients.
- Perform detailed audit procedures, including testing of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Support clients with accounting questions, reconciliations, and process improvements.
- Research and resolve accounting and audit issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate workpapers and clear documentation of audit procedures.
- Collaborate with engagement managers and senior accountants to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality work.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 5–15 years of public accounting experience; audit experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and audit standards.
- Proficiency with accounting and audit software; experience with CaseWare, CCH, or similar tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements.
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
