Project Accountant

Our client, a growing construction and service firm, is seeking a Project Accountant. This Project Accountant role will lead financial operations, support project accounting, and help drive business growth.

Project Accountant Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Project Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.


• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in construction, electrical, or service industries.


• Strong job costing, budgeting, and forecasting skills.


• AIA billing = major plus.


• Proficiency with accounting/ERP software; construction software experience a plus.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Project Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.


• Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance.


• Track project costs, budgets, and profitability.


• Oversee AP/AR and client/vendor billing.


• Support forecasting, budgeting, and internal reporting.


• Assist with process improvements and internal controls.
