Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and ensure timely, reliable reporting.
- Analyze costing, margins, pricing structures, material changes, and labor impacts to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Provide oversight and involvement with the company’s insurance programs, including medical and commercial coverage.
- Improve and streamline financial processes, documentation, and overall efficiency.
- Partner closely with operations and leadership to support informed decision‑making.
- Use Excel to support reporting, costing analysis, and financial modeling.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with month‑end and ongoing financial reporting.
- Background in manufacturing costing and pricing structures.
- Exposure to HR or insurance‑related responsibilities is helpful due to insurance involvement.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks‑style accounting systems and Excel.
- Direct, confident communicator who can work effectively with a straightforward leadership style and is comfortable pushing back when needed.
