About the Opportunity – Senior Accountant
This Senior Accountant role supports a growing, fast‑paced organization to bring accounting operations back in‑house. The position partners closely with accounting & finance leadership and serves as a righthand resource, owning core accounting and payroll functions while helping maintain and scale processes during a period of growth.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Accountant

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities and assist with month‑end close


• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies


• Utilize QuickBooks Online for accounting transactions and reporting


• Own and manage weekly, multi‑state payroll for W‑2 employees and 1099 contractors, including timely review and approval of timecards


• Maintain payroll and employee data within HRIS and timekeeping systems


• Support commission payout processing and related reconciliations


• Partner closely with finance leadership to transition accounting functions in‑house


• Adapt to evolving processes in a growing, fluid environment

Qualifications – Senior Accountant

• Senior‑level accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge


• QuickBooks Online experience required


• Experience processing multi‑state payroll required


• Familiarity with commission structures and payouts preferred


• Experience supporting both W‑2 employees and 1099 contractors preferred


• Comfortable working in a changing, growth‑oriented environment


• Highly teachable, adaptable, and collaborative mindset


• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet firm payroll deadlines
