Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Lead the monthly close and corporate reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
- Review financial statements, investigate variances, and maintain strong data integrity
- Manage and develop accounting staff while partnering closely with the Assistant Controller
- Support audit activities through preparation and review of reconciliations and schedules
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Ideal Background for the Accounting Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business; Master’s preferred
- CPA required with 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills; ERP experience required
