Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant

• Manage project setup, billing, accounts receivable, and insurance documentation


• Support project administration including change orders, compliance tracking, and close‑outs


• Partner daily with Project Managers to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting


• Maintain organized project records and assist with invoicing and ad‑hoc analysis

Ideal Background for the Project Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred


• 2–5 years of experience as a Project Accountant or in construction accounting


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects


• Detail‑oriented, communicative, and comfortable in a fully onsite role
