Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant
Manage project setup, billing, accounts receivable, and insurance documentation
Support project administration including change orders, compliance tracking, and close‑outs
Partner daily with Project Managers to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting
Maintain organized project records and assist with invoicing and ad‑hoc analysis
Ideal Background for the Project Accountant
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2–5 years of experience as a Project Accountant or in construction accounting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Detail‑oriented, communicative, and comfortable in a fully onsite role
