Staff Accountant

Our client, a well established manufacturing company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the growing team! This position will offer paid vacation, medical and dental benefits, and a generous 401K plan.

Salary $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. This role is fully onsite.

Responsibilities: Staff Accountant

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statement, and other financial reports, assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards


• Perform monthly closing activities including excel reports and packages.


• Perform GL account analysis and journal entries


• Evaluate the financial statements and reports for accuracy and identify problem areas and suggest methods of correction.


• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the company.


• Maintain fixed asset log with depreciation and lapsing schedules for both book and tax.


• Prepare and distribute daily reports


• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports


• Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, and assigned

Education: Staff Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


• 1 - 2 years accounting experience with an emphasis on a manufacturing environment
